Week 1
I went to the the races at Uttoxeter Race Course. I go to the races because I have liked anything to do with horses since I was little. My grandparents take me there as often as we can go and its great because its so close. I like these because none of them are too over/under exposed. This is because it was really good weather at the time which meant good lighting for the photographs. All the horses in the photos are in focus. However I saw on the third photo that there are people in the background. All though they are not in focus, it can still be distracting. Because the subject was moving it was hard to tell what would be in the photo. The photos have quite a high contrast because of the amount of colours, especially on what the jockeys are wearing. The photos were taken from the stands nearest the finishing line which meant we were close to the horses.
Week 2
Because I love planes , me and my dad go to East Midlands airport quite often, as it is the closest airport to us. Its not the best airport as it is quite small and can be very quiet but you can get right at the end of the runway from one of the roads around the airport, which means they fly right over your head. This was my favourite out of all the photos i took because it was had just taken off, which meant it was low - perfect for getting a photo. You can see the plane in detail and it isnt too over or under exposed.
Week 3
I didn't use my camera this week so I decided to edit some photos I already had on my computer that I took a few months ago. The photo of the horses I added a Sepia filter too and then increased the contrast. I also had to crop the photo a bit so that the horses heads where in the centre of the photo.
The second photo I took at an airshow I went to in July. I added a black and white Filter to it and used 2 other effect on the photo. one was called 'soft focus'. This is where you choose an area of the photograph you want in focus and then choose how out of focus you want the rest of the photo to be. theo the one was where you can darken the edges of the photo.

Week 4
These are some photos I took when walking my grandparents dog Maddison. It was really sunny on the day which is why the photos are so bright. I think that the second photo is a bit too overexposed but the other 2 photos are ok.
Week 5
I took these on my phone when I was in Cornwall. I like the first one because it focused on the rain and made the background blurry
Week 6
I took these on my phone in Filey, which is why the images aren't very good quality I like the second one because it focused of the piece of sand and the rest around it is out of focus. the first one is the view of the town of Filey from where we were on the beach.
